Belter Pair of Couches

PAIR of John Henry Belter couches in the “Fountain Elms pattern,  from the Dunleith Plantation in Natchez MS.  The entire set was assembled and placed in the formal room of the mansion.  These two couches and five parlor chairs are in a mint green silk damask fabric.  (Additional fabric purchased)  Both couch’s carvings are in wonderful condition. One of the couch’s fabrics shows wear along the center edge of the front of the couch.
